Tiderunner Bassmasters
Tiderunner Bassmasters is located in Pasadena Maryland with members in Pasadena,  Glen Burnie,
Hanover, Millersville, and Severn.  Our monthly meetings are held in Pasadena on the first Monday of
each month.  The club was formed in 1989 by 8 friends (6 of whom were formally in another club
together) who were looking to have a more structured club than those that they had experience with
before.  They wanted club hats and shirts to identify the club, members that would regularly attend
meetings and fish the tournaments.  And they wanted this in a friendly, social and competitive
atmosphere where everyone got along and helped one another.  The members have tried to hold true to
these ideals throughout the years.
Presently, the club has 8 members of various ages and backgrounds with 7 boaters and one
non-boater.  We fish 8-10 tournaments a year (most years we fish a 2-day tournament).  We fish rivers in
Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and on the Eastern Shore.  Some of the rivers we have fished are
Potomac, Dundee, Susquehanna Flats, Sassafras, Wicomico, Nanticoke, Chester, Choptank,
Rappahannock (VA), Chickahominy (VA), Falls Lake (NC), Gaston (NC) and Kerr (NC).  We don't have a
pairing policy for tournaments except for non-boaters and members with boat problems, but members
can pair-up if they wish.  Our "Mr. Bass" is determined by a point system based solely on fish caught in
tournaments.  Tournament winners receive plaques at the Club Banquet at the end of the year; the only
money payout is for an optional Lunker pot at each tournament.  In addition to our tournaments, we also
have run a kid's tournament for the Crofton Meadows Homeowner's Association each year.   Three of our
members have made the Maryland Bass Federation Nation State Team.
